TEDxAcequiaMadre is a not-for-profit event and is made possible through the generous contribution of time and energy by unpaid volunteers. If you would like to help us make Santa Fe’s first TEDx event a success, send us a note and introduce yourself!

Yes, TEDxAcequiaMadre needs your talent, ideas, energy, and enthusiasm. We are all volunteers so, to say we are volunteer-people-powered is an understatement. We can help work with you to host  TEDxAcequiaMadre Meetups to introduce newbies and long time TEDheads to our unique event. Please visit our facebook page to connect with other TEDx enthusiasts.

We need support to do the following:

• Promote the event in a city-wide poster campaign
• Promote the event online to networks in colleges, non profits, associations, government agencies, galleries, cultural institutions, and to potential speakers and performers. TEDxAcequiaMadre is like a virus (one that makes you feel better and motivated to “do something amazing”)
• Register people the day of the event
• Serve as the welcome wagon at the event
• Host the info booth at the main event and at the post-event meet-the speaker reception to make everyone feel welcome and get connected
• Help set up TEDx viewing parties streaming simulcasts of TEDxAcequiaMadre around northern New Mexico
